Using the App
By using Appalachia Offroad, you agree to use the app for lawful trip planning, marketplace discovery, business listing, booking, and communication purposes. Do not misuse the app, attempt to access accounts that are not yours, submit false information, scrape the service, or interfere with normal operation.
Rider Responsibility
Trail, ride-area, lodging, fuel, food, repair, and service information is provided for planning only. Riders are responsible for confirming current rules, permits, closures, weather, vehicle requirements, land access, safety conditions, and local laws before riding. Off-road riding can be dangerous, and each rider accepts the risks of their own travel and riding decisions.
Rider Safety Tools
Location sharing, checkpoints, missed check-in messages, trusted contacts, and SOS notifications are best-effort planning aids. They can be delayed or fail because of device settings, locked screens, browser restrictions, poor GPS, loss of service, provider outages, or incorrect contact details. Appalachia Offroad does not monitor rides, dispatch responders, or automatically contact 911. These tools do not replace emergency services, a satellite communicator, a personal locator beacon, responsible ride preparation, or direct communication with trusted contacts.
Marketplace Listings
Businesses are responsible for keeping listing details, phone numbers, owner emails, websites, photos, pricing, offers, availability, cancellation policies, and booking information accurate. For lodging and other bookable listings, the listed business remains responsible for listing accuracy, applicable taxes, services, cancellations, and refunds under the partner agreement. Appalachia Offroad may edit, hide, reject, or remove listings that appear inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or harmful to riders or other businesses.
Bookings and Services
Bookings, service requests, lodging help, partner deals, and direct business communications are between the rider, customer, service provider, and business involved. Appalachia Offroad may provide tools to request, review, approve, cancel, or coordinate these items, but businesses remain responsible for fulfilling their own services and honoring their posted policies, pricing, taxes, cancellation terms, and refund decisions.
Taxes
Lodging providers and other bookable businesses are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting all applicable federal, state, county, city, sales, lodging, occupancy, tourism, and local taxes connected to their reservations or services. Appalachia Offroad does not collect or remit lodging, occupancy, or sales taxes on behalf of partner businesses.
Mini Games and Rewards
Trail Runner and similar mini games are provided for entertainment and promotional engagement. Scores, coins, upgrades, run codes, rewards, and ad-based bonuses do not have cash value and may be adjusted, reset, limited, or discontinued as features change.
Payments, Payouts, and Refunds
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Appalachia Offroad does not store full card numbers. Customer reservation payments are processed through the lodging provider or bookable business's connected Stripe account when online booking is available. Subscription, booking, cancellation, payout, and refund terms may depend on the selected product, business policy, Stripe rules, and the refund and cancellation policy shown in the app. Paid partner tiers do not guarantee bookings, calls, revenue, ranking, or rider traffic.
Subscriptions
Paid business subscriptions renew until canceled. Unless otherwise stated in writing, subscription payments are final and non-refundable. A business may cancel future renewal, and service may remain active until the end of the paid term.
Reviews and Community Content
Riders and businesses may submit reviews, posts, photos, deal text, and other content. By submitting content, you confirm you have the right to share it and give Appalachia Offroad permission to display, moderate, edit for formatting, or remove it. Reviews may be moderated for spam, abuse, threats, irrelevant content, private information, conflicts of interest, or false claims.
Email, SMS, and Calls
By submitting a phone number or email address, you agree that Appalachia Offroad, listed businesses, or connected service providers may contact you about account access, bookings, service requests, support, marketplace activity, and opted-in marketing. Marketing SMS requires consent and may be stopped according to the instructions in the message. Message and data rates may apply.
Business Contact Number
Public contact numbers shown in the app may route to a separate business phone provider, call forwarding service, or support inbox. Do not use the app or listed numbers for emergencies. Emergency services, trail authorities, property owners, and local law enforcement should be contacted directly when needed.
Account Access
Business owners are responsible for protecting account links, login emails, confirmation codes, and dashboard access. If you believe an account has been accessed without permission, contact support promptly so access can be reviewed or changed.
Availability
Appalachia Offroad may change, pause, remove, or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We work to keep information useful and current, but the app may contain errors, delays, outages, or outdated third-party information.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Appalachia Offroad is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses related to riding decisions, third-party businesses, service providers, payments, trail conditions, closures, accidents, or user-submitted content.
